At Herne Juniors, our children will develop their musical skills each year within 9 different strands: singing, pitch, duration, dynamics, tempo, texture, structure, listening and appraising and performance. Each strand has various ‘I can’ and ‘I am’ statements that will allow children to develop their musical understanding.
