Here at Herne, we want to put our vision, mission and values into action and one of the ways in which we do this is through our support of local and national charities.  Many charitable activities that we undertake are yearly, however we also like to respond to need as it occurs.  On some occasions, the children organise the charitable event, sometimes school adults suggest how we can help others.  It is our intention that these activities ignite our children’s compassion and sense of place and purpose in the community.

Children in Need (including the Herne Bay High School Dance Dash visiting us)

Catching Lives (Canterbury Homeless Support Charity)

Strode Park Foundation (A Kent charity in Herne providing vital care and support for children and adults with a range of disabilities)

Macmillan Cancer Support (World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for staff and parents)

Walk for Water (Y6 fund raise by walking with 2 litres of water for 6 km)

SOS Children's Villages (We sponsor a young boy in Laos)
