Our Sponsored Child
- Our school sponsors a boy called Lewis who lives in Laos in South-East Asia.
- Because Lewis could no longer be looked after by his biological family, he now has a loving, permanent home in an SOS family where he can grow up with love, respect and security.
- He lives with other SOS children (these are like foster children) with an SOS mother (like a foster mother) in a village, which is supported by the charity SOS Children’s Villages.
Our sponsorship helps give Lewis:
- the bonds he needs to develop and become his strongest self
- individualised care that supports his development
- a supportive community with stable friendships
- quality education and training to prepare for the future
- access to health services and medical care
- support to prepare him for an independent adult life
