On Tuesday 21st November, Year 4 dressed as Victorian children. We learnt about children in cotton mills and we had a competition to see who could make the longest string. We also learnt children in coal mines and we had finger nail inspections. In the afternoon, we made thaumatropes . They are an optical illusion. My favourite activity was making the thaumatropes . I would not like to be a Victorian child because I would probably get whipped!
